Medical education

Torrington Health Centre is a training practice and you may be offered a telephone or face-to-face appointment with a GP trainee or medical student, who will always be working under the supervision of one of our GPs. You may also be asked to see the doctor or nurse with a student present.

You will always be asked beforehand if this is acceptable and you may ask for the student to withdraw or to discuss your problem with the GP if you prefer.
